Sunrise Management Expands Northern California Team

Racquel Johnpeer Appointed Regional VP

San Diego-based Sunrise Management, which has specialized in managing multifamily properties since 1978, has announced the addition of Racquel Johnpeer as the new regional vice president in Northern California. Johnpeer will work from Sunrise’s Sacramento office, taking charge of overseeing all property management functions including capital improvements on existing properties and expanding the company’s services in this region.

“Racquel’s extensive experience in property management is very valuable to Sunrise as we continue to expand our footprint in the Northern California market,” says Joe Greenblatt, president and CEO of Sunrise. “She has not only a superb knowledge of this region but also a deep understanding of this industry and expertise at managing people.”

A resident of Elk Grove, Calif., Johnpeer was most recently with APM Inc., a Seattle-based project management and development firm where she worked in a variety of roles for over ten years. Most recently she was APM’s senior regional manager – managing assets for 1,159 units – spearheading capital improvements, NOI growth and vendor management.

She is a licensed California real estate agent and was twice awarded APM’s regional manager of the year accolade.
